介護(かいご)保険(ほけん)

 1年(ねん)以上(いじょう)日本(にほん)に滞在(たいざい)する外国人(がいこくじん)の方(かた)で、65歳(さい)以上(いじょう)の方(かた)と医療(いりょう)保険(ほけん)に加入(かにゅう)している40歳(さい)以上(いじょう)の方(かた)はこの介護(かいご)保険(ほけん)制度(せいど)に加入(かにゅう)しなければなりません。65歳(さい)以上(いじょう)または40歳(さい)以上(いじょう)で16の特定(とくてい)疾病(しっぺい)により介護(かいご)を要する(よう　　)状態(じょうたい)になった場合(ばあい)に、要介護(ようかいご)認定(にんてい)申請(しんせい)手続き(てつづ　)をへてサービスが受(う)けられます。介護費用(かいごひよう)については原則(げんそく)1割(わり)の自己(じこ)負担(ふたん)となります。

Long-term Care Insurance

All foreign residents residing in Japan for one year or more aged 65 years old or older, or those who are 40 years old or older and enrolled in an insurance program must enroll in “the Long-term Care Insurance Program.（介護(Kaigo)保険(-hoken)）”Those aged 65 years or older and those aged 40 years or older with one of 16　recognized illnesses requiring nursing care will be eligible for services under this plan by undergoing the official approval application procedures.In principle, 10% of nursing care costs will be paid by the insured.
